The Problem I Couldn't Ignore
As a developer and indie hacker, I've had a front-row seat to the modern job market. I’ve seen incredibly talented friends and colleagues—brilliant coders, creative marketers, and sharp analysts—get rejected for jobs they were perfectly qualified for. The reason? Their resumes weren't optimized to get past the initial gatekeepers: the Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). It felt deeply unfair that a machine was filtering out great people before a human ever saw their qualifications.
From Side Project to Passion Project
CareerCraft AI started as a personal challenge: could I use the power of modern AI to level the playing field? I wasn't satisfied with existing tools that just checked for keywords. I wanted to build something that could think like a career coach—something that could not only identify gaps but also help rewrite content to be more impactful, quantify achievements, and tell a compelling story.
My Philosophy: Empower the Individual
I built CareerCraft AI as a solo developer with one core philosophy: to empower the individual. Large corporations have access to sophisticated recruiting software and entire HR departments. I wanted to give that same level of insight and power to you.
- You Are in Control:The AI provides suggestions, but you are always the final author. Every piece of advice is a starting point for you to review, edit, and perfect.
- Privacy is Paramount:Your resume is your personal data. That's why file parsing happens in your browser, and your documents are never uploaded to a server.
- Technology as an Enabler:My goal is to use AI not to replace human judgment, but to augment it, helping you overcome writer's block and build the confidence you need to succeed.
This platform is more than just a tool; it's my mission to help you navigate the complexities of the job search and unlock your true career potential.
